Victoria & Albert Museum, London

I created the mosaic floor of the new Exhibition Road gallery of the V&A museum, 105 square meters of Italian marble mosaic, hand cut and laid on mesh, then shipped to London for installation in the new Exhibition hall.

Abraj Al Bait clock tower, Meccah

With over 40,000 sqm of artistic mosaic, the Abraj al Bait tower is the largest artistic mosaic installation in the world. It is also the largest clock in the world, on the third tallest building in the world. I was the mosaic art and tile specialist consultant for the project, and the actual mosaic was laid by hundreds of workers in 3 different factory locations,

Il Settimo Angelo, Flero, Brescia

Created for a private chapel, this mosaic angel reproduces the recently uncovered “Seventh Angel” of the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Made with over 35,000 tesserae of Italian smalti and 24k gold, it took over 160 hours to complete.

The Bisenzio Mural

Created in 2025–26 for a privately restored 13th-century toll tower in Bisenzio, this large-scale mural brings a contemporary intervention into a space with more than seven centuries of history. Painted directly in enamel onto the ancient raw cement walls, it brings together the character of the building, the commissioner’s personal aesthetic and my own visual language of flow and organic form — creating a work that belongs simultaneously to artist, person and place.

Giant Umbrella Project, Medina

A marvel of modern engineering, 108 giant glass and gold mosaic-clad umbrellas shade the entire 1 km2 open space of the Prophet’s Square in Medina. I was specialist mosaic consultant on the project.
