Cantata explores the rhythms that connect colour, movement and sound. Layers of transparent greens and blues are interrupted by circles, lines and repeated marks that echo the structure of a musical composition, inviting the eye to move across the canvas like listening to a melody.

I painted this while thinking about the patterns that quietly shape our experience—how repetition creates rhythm, and how harmony can emerge from seemingly unrelated elements. Like music, the painting leaves space for each viewer to find their own interpretation.
